Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Unity, VA

Your rental in Unity

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Unity: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. How it works: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. The offer shows the full price before you pay anything.

Visiting Toronto from Unity? We can have a car ready when you arrive. Because Unity is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. A request about Unity gets an honest answer from a person. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Who this suits

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why a rental from us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Booking made plain

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Who qualifies

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
