Good fits

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What makes this simple

CarmaCars is not affiliated with any rideshare or delivery platform; we rent the car, the platform sets its own rules. Gig work runs on long hours, so the weekly rate applies from 7 days, and one booking runs up to 365 days. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Who can rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How a booking comes together

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Ready when you are

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
