Who it is for

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Driver basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
