A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,178 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Next door to Java are Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

In silver

Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Tell us if silver is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

Under the hood

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.65 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting this car from us

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to bring

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking, step by step

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Make a request

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
