A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,178 km away. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

The pages for Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km works out to about 23 litres per 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.65.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Size and space

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

From your dates to the handover

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Driver requirements

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

One more step

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
