Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Next door to Java are Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 24 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.83, and a 300 km weekend about $41.49.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The body is 4.76 m long and 1.85 m wide. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Checking your details

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Request, offer, keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
