A note on Java

Java is about 3,178 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Nearby places include Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

The A4 in black

A black car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Tell us if black is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 24 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who can rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Your booking, in three steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
