The A4 and Java

Choosing a colour

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for yellow in your request. Want yellow? Put it in the request. Our yellow cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

The numbers in plain words

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 24 litres, from its 7.9 L/100 km rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 4.76 m long, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

How renting with us works

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
