In white

Ask for white in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. The studio image shows the A4 in white; photos of each real car are on its page. If you want it in white, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

What the figures tell you

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 24 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $138.30 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

How a booking comes together

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Who qualifies

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
