Choosing a colour

Our blue cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before. A blue car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm.

Under the hood

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Inside and out

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking with CarmaCars

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
