The A4 in green

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for green in your request. Our green cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for green and we try.

What the figures tell you

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Requesting a car

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Checking your details

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
