The A4 in yellow

If you want it in yellow, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. In yellow, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. A yellow car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm.

Under the hood

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can you rent one?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

The booking steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

When you know your dates

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
