Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

The Civic in red

The studio image shows the Civic in red; photos of each real car are on its page. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for red and we try. Our red cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Under the hood

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 6.9 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 21 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $107 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

What the Civic is like

As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 736 litres of luggage space, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Rent this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What you need to rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

The steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
