About the 2001 Mazda MPV
Looking at the 2001 Mazda MPV? Start with its powertrains and fuel use.
The numbers in plain words
The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter. The automatic gearbox makes city traffic easy.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 39 litres, from its 13.1 L/100 km rating. The split is 14.7 L/100 km in town and 11.2 on the highway. A 300 km weekend costs about $60.93 in energy at our price setting.
Who rents the MPV
It suits groups, airport runs with luggage and family trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Road trips
Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies.
Practical details
It is the kind of vehicle that makes a family trip calmer.
Can you rent one?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
The rules, briefly
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
What to expect when you book
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
Next step
Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
