Renting: the basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
