What the figures tell you

It runs the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Driver basics

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
