What the figures tell you

The electric motor with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. In money, 1,000 km costs about $27.90 at our price setting.

Practical details

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Licence, age and card

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How to book

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
