Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

Who qualifies

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
