Under the hood: the electric motor and all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Driver basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
