Choosing a colour

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for red and we try. Want red? Put it in the request. In red, the Model 3 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page.

Under the hood

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Requirements

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
