The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.
