Rent a brown 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance in Java

The 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance, explained

This page is about one trim: the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance. The Performance sits at the top of the 2020 Tesla Model Y lineup, trim 2 of 2.

The Model Y and Java

Java is about 1,933 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Around Java you will also find Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

About the colour

If you want it in brown, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. The studio image shows the Model Y in brown; photos of each real car are on its page. Our brown cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 17.4 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 52 kWh. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. A 300 km weekend costs about $7.83 in energy at our price setting.

Room inside

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who it is for

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Getting one from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Driver basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

From your dates to the handover

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
