The Model Y in orange

If orange matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. In orange, the Model Y looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Our orange cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Under the hood

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For every 100 km it uses about 17.4 kWh. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. Expect about $2.61 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Practical details

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Requesting a car

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Your move

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
