A note on Yameri

Yameri is about 3,364 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Yameri starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Close by are San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec, each with its own page.

About the colour

In yellow, the Corolla looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. If you want it in yellow, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Want yellow? Put it in the request.

Under the hood

The 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. In money, 1,000 km costs about $116.30 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Corolla

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

What to bring

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How a booking comes together

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
