Getting to know the 2016 Toyota Corolla S

The 2016 Toyota Corolla S is a mid-size car; here is what that means for you. The S is number 2 of the 4 trims sold in Canada for 2016.

Yameri and the Corolla

Yameri is about 3,364 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri.

If you are near Yameri, San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec are close too.

Choosing a colour

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for blue and we try. Ask for blue in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car.

Reading the spec sheet

The 1.8L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 7.5 L/100 km combined: about 23 litres every 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $34.89 in energy at our price setting.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Rent it from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

The booking steps

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What to bring

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
