Arranging the work for the Corolla

Your 2016 Toyota Corolla S needs engine work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Your Corolla and the shop

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your Corolla, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Corolla. It runs the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive.

How the arrangement works

Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.

Small things that help

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Yameri and the Corolla

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,364 km from Yameri, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Yameri starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.
