Requesting a car

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What to bring

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
