Ruby and the A4

The pages for Abbottsford, Atkins and The Lakes Mobile Home Park cover the areas next door.

Under the hood

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Our A4 cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Request, offer, keys

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What to bring

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
