Black SUV service: beige 2019 Acura RDX Tech in Java

Black SUV service with this car

Black SUV service: the 2019 Acura RDX Tech. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The RDX and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 9.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 29 litres of fuel. Expect about $17.15 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Room inside

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who qualifies

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Requesting a car

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
