A note on Knobs

If you need it in Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the specs mean

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. That works out to about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With a length of 4.76 m, it counts as on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Your request, our offer, your keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Who can rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
