What the figures tell you

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting this car

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

The booking steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
