Car service: the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance

Car service: the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The Model Y and Yameri

San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec are the neighbouring places on our list.

Engine and fuel

The electric motor with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated energy use is 17.4 kWh per 100 km. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. A 300 km weekend costs about $7.83 in energy at our price setting.

Room inside

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who rents the Model Y

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Our Model Y cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

How renting with us works

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Before pickup

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
