Ruby City and the A4

Ruby City is about 988 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ruby City starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Next door to Ruby City are Willits-Ochre Hill, Addie and Balsam.

Engine and fuel

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Request, offer, keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
