Ruby City and the A4

If you need it in Ruby City itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Ruby City; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 988 km away.

Next door to Ruby City are Willits-Ochre Hill, Addie and Balsam.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

What to expect when you book

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
