The figures, translated

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated at 8.2 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. In money, 1,000 km costs about $127.10 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Room inside

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
