A note on Ruby

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby. Ruby is about 281 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

Abbottsford, Atkins and The Lakes Mobile Home Park are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the figures tell you

The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 8.2 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $127.10 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

What to expect from the Forester

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Rent it from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

What to expect when you book

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Next step

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
