Car with driver: the 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie

Renting the 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie as a car with a driver works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Java and the 1500

Reading the spec sheet

Its 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Fuel use is rated 9.0 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 27 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

When the 1500 makes sense

It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Space, size and seats

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Who qualifies

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How renting with us works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

When you know your dates

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
