What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 9.0 L/100 km works out to about 27 litres per 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $139.50 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the 1500

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

Getting this car from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What you need to rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
