The figures, translated

Its powertrain is the electric motor with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

How big it is

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Renting: the basics

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

The booking steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
