Engine and fuel

The engine is the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 22 litres of fuel. A 300 km weekend costs about $33.96 in energy at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What the Corolla is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

Getting the car booked

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we check

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Send a request

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
