Renting the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE

For a car with a driver, the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The Corolla and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

Power comes from the 1.8L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 22 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $113.20 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the Corolla suits

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The booking steps

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
