Java and the Corolla

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 7.3 L/100 km, means roughly 22 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.32, and a 300 km weekend about $33.96.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting this car from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Checking your details

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
