About the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE

For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE brings, and how to request one. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Java and the Corolla

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Under the hood

It uses the 1.8L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 22 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.3 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.32, and a 300 km weekend about $33.96.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Our Corolla cars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

What to expect when you book

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

The rules, briefly

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

When you know your dates

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
