Mapleton and the A4

We have no location in Mapleton; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,144 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Mapleton starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are close to Mapleton, you may also be near Gowland Mountain, Pleasant Vale and Meadow.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Getting one from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Getting the car booked

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You pay when you approve, and only then.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What to have ready

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Still deciding?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
