A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 9.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 29 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $51.45 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Room inside

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

How to book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

The rules, briefly

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Make a request

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
