What the specs mean

Before pickup

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
