What happens when you ask for a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. You pay when you approve, and only then.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we ask of drivers

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
