Specs, explained

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It uses 17.4 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 52 kWh of charge. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. Every 100 km costs about $2.61 in electricity at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

In our fleet

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Before you rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

From request to keys

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Ready when you are

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
