Engine repair: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for engine work on the 2012 Lexus RX we arrange a trusted shop. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
About your RX
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RX. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Its powertrain is the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid with front-wheel drive.
What we arrange
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
Keep moving meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Small things that help
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Let us know
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
