The Scion: Engine repair
Engine repair for the Scion: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How we help
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The rental is priced like any other on our site. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Small things that help
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Ready to ask?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
